\As a regulated payment service company, we are required by law to conduct due diligence on all payments, therefore your limit will depend on the due diligence you are prepared to provide.

What types of ID can I use?

Which documents do we accept?

  • National ID - Please show the front and back of the ID card. The document number must be visible and there should be no glare
  • Passport - All four corners of the document must be visible and it should show your:
    • photo
    • your full name*
    • date of birth
  • Driving License - This must be in high resolution and should show:
    • your signature
    • the expiry date
    • the place of issue
    • the full machine-readable zone (the 2 lines of letters and numbers at the bottom of the document) if present

What is address verification?

As a financially regulated company we are required by law to verify all of our customers. Part of this process can involve address verification.

If we need to verify your address we will contact you by email. You’ll need to reply to the email with your address document as an attachment.

When submitting your proof of address, please ensure that it is a high quality photo or scan of a valid document showing:

  • Your full name
    • This must match what appears on your KBLPAY account
  • Your full home address
    • This cannot be a PO Box address
    • This cannot be an office / workplace address
    • This must match what appears on your KBLPAY account
  • The date of issue
    • This should not be more than 3 months old
  • A logo or clear name of the sender
    • This should appear on all official bills or statements as a letterhead

The name and address on the document must match the details on your KBLPAY account.

What types of document can you accept for address verification?

ID documents we can usually accept include:

  • Utility Bill
    • This can be a gas, electricity, water or insurance bills.
    • We can’t accept mobile phone bills
    • The bill must be no older than 3 months
  • Driving Licence
    • This must show your address
    • This must be in date – we cannot accept expired documents
  • Bank / Credit card statement
    • This must be no older than 3 months

If your document is not accepted, it could be for a number of reasons. Some of the reasons documents cannot be accepted are:

  • The date
    • If the document is older than 3 months we cannot accept it
  • The details on your document
    • The details (including name and address) on the document must match your KBLPAY account
    • The details must be for your home residence, not a PO Box or workplace
  • The document type
    • The type of document may not be one we can accept (for example a mobile phone bill)

How do I make a complaint?
